After six years in magazine publishing, Robyn joined the Machine_ team as Content Officer in 2021. Combining engaging content ideas with business strategy is a holistic approach to content that Robyn is constantly enthralled by. Within the first two months at the agency, Robyn led the content strategy to win Nutun as a new client, becoming Editor-in-Chief of their internal publication, Ngage. Robyn has also been Editor-in-Chief of Sanlam’s internal magazine, Connect – a publication that delicately balances strong editorial ideas with vital business messaging. It reaches employees across Africa in various fields of the business and at varying levels.
Magazines aside, Robyn can generally be described as a “find the content idea in every situation” type of thinker. Her love for creating expands into creative writing as well, publishing her first book in April of this year. Being constantly curious and learning everything about everything encompasses Robyn inside and out of the work environment.
