The judging process and key focus points
Below is a list of key focus points judges use when judging your publication. Digital submissions are subjected to additional technical focus points such as coding language, page load speeds, multimedia elements, social media integration, user interaction and various others.

Online entry
After completing the online entry form we are notified of your intent to enter the competition and we generate an invoice.

Entry payment
Process payment as soon as possible so that judging can start. Prepare your entries for submission.

Publication(s) received
We receive your physical publication(s), USB drive(s) or URL. We prepare the entries for judging.

Preparation
We prepare the entries for the different category judges and ensure that they have been entered into the right category.

Judging
Judges review and score your publication(s) according to set judging criteria. Scores and feedback are sent back to us.

Scoring
Scores and feedback are processed and top scorers are sent for moderation.
7
Moderating
Moderators assess the scores and make adjustments if necessary. A panel considers the Editor of the Year entries.

Awards
Once scoring has been finalised, certificates and trophies are prepared for the winners.

Award ceremony
Winners are rewarded and entrants receive feedback at the award ceremony.
